The rapper was originally jailed for eight years. In January 2022, a plea deal was filed with federal prosecutors to lower the rapper’s sentence. According to the plea deal, Pooh copped one conspiracy charge to possess a firearm.
Unfortunately, against the plea deal, prosecutors dropped a more serious charge that the rapper fired the weapon himself. However, the judge credited the rapper for the year he’s already spent in custody.
