Storyline

Homecoming is the first and one of the commercially successful Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies. However, Holland was first introduced as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, but it was just a cameo.

Holland came into a full-action role in Homecoming. The movie revolves around a high school student, Peter Parker, portrayed by Tom Holland, who secretly operates as the superhero Spider-Man. The most challenging part is Parker balancing his high school and superhero life. 

Parker battles against Adrian Toomes, portrayed by Michael Keaton. Toomes is a salvage contractor whose life turns full of crime after his business is taken over by Tony Stark Industries. Then, Toomes persuades his employees to create and sell advanced alien weapons, including a flying vulture suit, on the black market. 

Meanwhile, Parker resumes his studies at the Midtown School of Science and Technology. When Parker comes to know about Toomes’ criminal activities, he decides to quit his school’s decathlon team to focus on the supervillain. 

However, Parker faces numerous challenges due to his lack of experience and overeagerness. Tony Stark intervenes, warning Parker to stay out of it. However, Parker is determined to fight against Vulture and prove himself a superhero. 

In the final showdown, Parker confronts Vulture, preventing him from stealing a shipment of advanced weaponry. In the end, Spider-Man wins against the Vulture and saves the day.
