On Monday, American singer Hayley Williams shared her musical companions, spotlighting Beyoncé and Taylor Swift’s recently released albums, “Cowboy Carter” and “The Tortured Poets Department.” While talking about Bey’s country album, Williams said she always cries at the same part of “American Requiem,” but her mom got chills around the same time. She added when Beyoncé sings, she feels the kind of Southern pride that exists. Williams also shouted out Taylor Swift’s latest release, a 31-song LP, praising its ability to evoke universal emotions. She said it’s impressive how specific and colorful Swift’s words get without losing the universal thread.
