J. Cole Regrets Releasing his Kendrick Lamar Diss ‘7 Minute Drill’

J. Cole Regrets Releasing his Kendrick Lamar Diss ‘7 Minute Drill’

On Sunday, while addressing the crowd during a headlining performance at Dreamville Festival in North Carolina, J. Cole said he regrets releasing his Kendrick Lamar diss track “7 Minute Drill.” The song is from Cole’s new project, “Might Delete Later,” which arrived on 5 April. On the track, the rapper responded to Kendrick Lamar’s guest verse “Like That,” where Lamar fired shots at Cole and Drake. Cole said he is so proud of his new album except for one part [7 Minute Drill] that makes him feel like it’s the lamest thing he did. He explained releasing diss is spiritually bad for him and doesn’t sit right with his spirit.
