Rory McIlroy, Professional Golfer, Files For Divorce From His Wife

Rory McIlroy, former world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking, and his wife Erica Stoll have decided to get separated some seven years after they first tied the knot. On Monday, the golfer submitted the separation documents in Florida court. The couple hasn’t given any reasons for their divorce yet. However, there are no words from both the parties’ attorneys. In 2012, McIlroy and Erica first met when she was working at the Ryder Cup event for the PGA. Initially, they were just good friends. After a few years, they became romantic and got married in 2017. The pair share a child, Poppy Kennedy McIlroy.
