On Saturday, King Ryan shocked the boxing world by scoring a majority decision win over Devin Haney. He dropped the champion four times during the fight. However, Garcia was ineligible to win the super-lightweight championship belt after he missed the weight by three pounds. In the first minute of the fight, Garcia hurt Haney by landing a clean left hook, causing Haney trouble throughout the fight. King Ryan again dropped Haney in rounds seven, ten, and eleven, and those knockouts were enough to see him win 114-110 and 115-109 on two scorecards.
