In his more than 50-year career, this is the first time that American singer-songwriter and pianist Billy Joel will air one of his concerts, “The 100: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden—The Greatest Arena Run of All Time,” on a broadcast network, CBS.
The singer-songwriter’s concert was announced in a promotional spot on the network Sunday. On 28 March, the concert was filmed, marking Joel’s 100th consecutive performance at the iconic New York City venue, Madison Square Garden.
His last performance at the venue was recorded on 14 December 1978. “The 100th” concert aired on 14 April from 9 to 11 pm ET/PT and is available to stream live or on-demand in the United States for Paramount+ With Showtime subscribers.

Recently, the singer-songwriter also came up with his new single in 17 years, “Turn the Lights Back On,” which he performed for the first time at the 2024 Grammys.
