Johnny Wactor shot dead by a thief in Los Angeles

Johnny Wactor, an American actor known for his work on the longest-running drama “General Hospital,” has been shot dead in Los Angeles by a thief who attempted to steal a part from his car. 

The 37-year-old actor suffered fatal injuries after he tried to stop three men from removing the catalytic converter from his parked car. On early Saturday, Wactor was pronounced dead. 

His agent, David Shaul, announced the Wactor’s death. Shaul said, “He was an outstanding actor and human being.” “He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After working over a decade together, the actor will leave a hole in your hearts forever,” he continued. 

Wactor’s mother also shared some words on her son’s death. She said he was returning to his car after work and discovered a man tampering with it. He didn’t suspect any danger and immediately approached the man to ask what was happening, then he was shot dead. 

The man fled with two other men, leaving behind her son senseless. According to the police report, the incident happened at the corner of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street in Los Angeles. 

No man has been arrested yet. The producers of “General Hospital” paid tribute to the actor, saying Wactor was truly one of a kind and a pleasure to work with every day.

Born on 31 August 1986, in Charleston, South Carolina, US, Wactor was an American actor famous for playing Brando Corbin in the longest-running television series, “General Hospital.” His journey of becoming an actor started in Los Angeles. 

In 2007, Wactor made his television debut with the American drama series “Army Wives.” Later, he worked in numerous renowned series, including “Siberia,” “USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage,” and “Supercell.”

Johnny Wactor’s death has profoundly impacted his colleagues, friends, and fans. Known for his generosity and kind-hearted nature, his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
