Sam Rubin Dead

Sam Rubin, an American journalist famous for being an entertainment reporter for KTLA Morning News, passed away on Friday. His family revealed the reporter died at his home of a heart attack.

One of his colleagues in KTLA Morning News said Rubin didn’t appear on the 9 May episode and didn’t show any signs of illness. Born on 16 February 1960 in San Diego, California, Rubin enjoyed rare longevity with a single station throughout his career.

He has been working at KTLA as an entertainment reporter since 1991. Talking with Rubin live on the station has long been an opportunity for movie, TV show, and concert tour stars to engage with and reach a wider audience.

He had been called an icon in the entertainment industry by the chairman and CEO of Nexstar, Perry Sook. KTLA news anchor Frank Buckley was shocked after hearing the death news.

In a social media post, Buckley said that Rubin was a giant in the local news and entertainment industries. As an anchor and reporter, Rubin offers a fan’s perspective on studios’ and networks’ machinations and the excesses of the rich and famous.

He also branched out into Television production. Rubin was a popular entertainment news personality due to his role as a Hollywood correspondent for Today Extra Programs and Network’s Today.

As tributes pour in from colleagues and fans, Sam Rubin’s legacy will endure as a testament to his passion, professionalism, and indelible mark on the world of entertainment reporting.
