On 21 April, Lila Joy announced the death of her sister, TikTok star Eva Evans, on social media. She didn’t reveal the cause of death. Lila shared an Instagram post with a photo of Evan alongside a heartfelt caption.

She said after 24 hours of Eva’s death, she still finds herself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance. Lila continued that she wished Eva could be present here as she would have better words and know how to say what she doesn’t.
Eva’s family also held a celebration this coming Tuesday evening in lower Manhattan. Eva Evans was known for her five-episode web series Club Rat, which she co-wrote and directed.
The series was released in 2023 and streamed on Amazon Prime Video. In the web series, Eva played the role of an influencer who tries to date again in New York City after a video of her breakup goes viral.
After some time, it was revealed that the series is actually based on Eva’s life, as she also had a breakup in early March following an almost two-year relationship. Many of Eva’s friends, fans, and co-stars shared tributes on social media about her death.
